The victim, an employee of the business, reported the discovery after noticing an unusual object placed under a ceiling tile while she was using the restroom, the affidavit further states.
Upon closer inspection, she realized it was a camera aimed directly at the toilet. After reviewing the SD card from the device, officers confirmed that the footage included a recording of Frias.
According to the affidavit, she told investigators that Cody Lee Terell, a coworker, had used the restroom earlier that day and appeared nervous, as he typically used a different restroom. Terell, the affidavit states, initially denied placing the camera but later admitted to officers that he had done so, stating his intent was to capture footage of another employee.
According to the report, he further allowed officers to view his Amazon purchase history, which revealed multiple purchases of hidden cameras. Terell was arrested and charged with invasive visual recording. He is no longer being held at the McLennan County Jail.
